Who we are Our trustees and patrons Our trustees and patrons Our Trustees Graham Crane - Having only moved into Herefordshire in the last three years I wanted to do something to become part of the local community and at the same time "give something back". I already had several years experience of working as a Treasurer and Trustee of small national charity that helps support and campaign for the rights of people with dwarfism. As well as being the parent of a child with Achondroplasia I feel I am well suited to be able to add value to the team of Trustees at Marches. I will bring; my prior charity experience, the fact I am a parent of a child with a disability, my drive and enthusiasm to help and support others, and a positive outlook that we can make things better. On top of all of that my day job is as a Business Analyst and Accountant I feel all these attributes give me a well rounded view of things and the ability to look at things both from a compassionate and understanding side as well as from a financial and practical side. I am really looking forward to working with all the great people involved in Marches and by working closely together I believe we can move the charity forwards. David Jackson - David is an experienced finance professional with a long career in the banking and oil industries. Lately he has relocated to the Herefordshire area with his young family and is active in a number of community and non for profit ventures, focusing upon education and the environment. He is very inspired by the work of the Marches Family Network and keen to bring his experience to the role of Trustee. Nickatie Morgan - Nickatie joined our trustee board in 2018. She is a Bowen therapist by training and spends her time treating people, horses and dogs. Up until very recently Nickatie ran this business alongside spending 10 years managing the Day Services and Therapy teams at St Michael’s Hospice. She has a degree in Applied Health Sciences and her dissertation was on working with and supporting carers, which is one of Nickatie's passions. Nickatie now looks after her step son, who has epilepsy and special needs. Marches Family Network is governed by a volunteer trustee board who meet on a monthly basis. We are looking for trustees who are passionate about creating a society that includes everyone. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience of social care, childcare, charities, business, or disability issues.
