The Play+ Project provides children and young people with multiple and profound disabilities a place to go to be with their friends, support to take part in activities and a sense of belonging. These sessions are tailored to meet the specific individual needs of the children and young people and offer vital respite for parents, carers and families. The children and young people have opportunities to take part in so many activities, including sensory play, cookery, WildPlay sessions and music and dance workshops.

Without projects like ours, the children and young people are at risk of being excluded.

We began this project in 2016 and the demand for these sessions has increased significantly over the last few years - in 2018/19, we provided 329 places for 47 children and young people across 20 sessions.

Any support towards providing these sessions would be really appreciated - thank you!
