Supporting young people with disabilities and their families

Marches Family Network is unique in providing 1:1 high quality short breaks (respite) and other services for families of children and young people who have a wide range of additional needs, at any level, across Herefordshire and into South Shropshire.
The charity was established in 1982 under the auspices of Contact a Family as a small self-help parent group. We became independent in 1995 and have grown into the amazing charity that we are today, actively supporting over 170 families in Herefordshire, Shropshire and the surrounding areas.

We work with families of children and young people aged 0-25 who have a disability or additional needs through a range of services.

Active, safe and fully cared for…

We provide specialist support, at an individual level, for children and young people aged 0-25 years. Our high quality, flexible services support young people with a diverse range of needs and their families. We can provide 1:1 support and welcome siblings. Our transparent prices reflect this level of support and care, enabling us to provide complete assurance and confidence to families.

Families feel secure knowing that their children and young people are in good hands and having fun. Parents and carers are given the chance for a complete break knowing their children are active, safe and fully cared for whatever their abilities and disabilities.
Parents are often amazed when their children try something new and we strive to provide an exciting and varied range of activities in our program, taking into account individual needs and preferences. Our trained staff are experienced at supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs, to develop confidence and independence, while ensuring that each child gets the very best from their time with us.
